When Rihanna showed up to her September cover shoot for W Magazine, she brought along her own “mental mood board,” according to editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi. And, we can’t say we’re surprised. The star has always maintained a strong sartorial image, expressing herself through whatever she wears. That is, after all, what makes a true style icon.
And, Rihanna certainly isn’t afraid to try out a wide range of looks, so we know she’ll always keep us entertained. The latest just happens to include armor-like jewelry, including one embellished septum ring, edgy, warlike makeup, and lots of fur. That don’t-mess-with-me glare just adds to the story, calling us to attention and forbidding us from turning away. One thing’s for sure – whatever she’s got coming, fashion-related or otherwise – our interests are piqued, to say the very least.
