Whitney Port is busy planning her upcoming wedding, but the star is still making time to give back. And her latest collaboration is extra-personal.
Port teamed up with Project Shoe to design her own statement pair. Not only can you buy her stylish footwear (see the photo below), but a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute in honor of her father, who lost his battle to kidney cancer last year.

“Project Shoe had so many options, it was hard to choose,” Port told PEOPLE. “I went for the oxfords because they’re relaxed, but I was able to add a little flair with a bold pop in the zebra pony material. The process was super easy and user-friendly. I also love that they’re giving back and that their guest designers get to chose a charity that has special meaning to them.”

How was designing the shoe different from designing your own line?
I designed this shoe with a little more ease knowing that I could be as funky as I wanted. I did want to design a comfortable shoe which is the same mentality I use when designing my collection. It is all about comfort with a unique spin.
How many different designs did you go through before landing on “the one?”
I knew exactly when I saw the shape of the shoe that that was the one I wanted to go with. I played with a couple different animal prints — I always gravitate towards animal prints with accessories.
Why did this style really speak to you?
I love a flat and wear flats most often. I loved the cutout aspect of the shoe and thought it was a style that could be worn so many different ways while also being funky.
How will you style it?
I think it would look super cute with a boyfriend jean and leather jacket or a cute little printed dress!
What do you look for in the perfect shoe?
I look for cool textures mixed with a good shape. I love my heels to be more out there and to make a statement, while I love my booties and flats more versatile and neutral.
