A Super-Happy James Franco Steps Out for His Latest Art Gallery Exhibition

James Franco arrived to his Art Exhibition opening in Manhattan yesterday looking like the cat that got the cream.

The Child of God actor appears to have put that whole pr stunt for his new movie Palo Alto underage girl drama behind him. Franco attended a reception at the Pace Gallery, where his latest collection of art works, inspired by Cindy Sherman’s iconic Untitled Film Stills series, are on exhibit until May.

Franco, 35, who has appeared in drag before, continues to be the busiest man in Hollywood. The Palo Alto filmmaker is currently starring on Broadway in Of Mice and Men with Chris O’Dowd, and also found the time direct an ad for luxury brand Gucci.

In it, Franco, looking uber cool, becomes smitten with a young woman. The two eventually kiss in front of a Gucci billboard before he whisks her away in his sports car.

James’ art exhibit, James Franco: New Film Stills runs until May 3rd.
