Where are all my Breaking Bad fans?! If you’re still depressed over the fact that your favorite television show is over, you better turn that frown upside down! The show’s prequel Better Call Saul is on its way.
AMC just announced the premiere date for the highly-anticipated spin off, and it’s not too far off.
The premiere will be a two-night television event, debuting on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. with its second episode airing Monday, Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. The new drama series will continue to air on Mondays at 10 p.m.
“This February, during AMC’s first ever two-night series premiere event, we’re going to introduce Jimmy McGill to the world. Known to Breaking Bad fans as Saul Goodman, viewers will soon discover Saul wasn’t always Albuquerque’s top criminal (criminal) lawyer,” AMC President Charlie Collier said. “Huge thanks to Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Bob Odenkirk, our partners at Sony, and the entire team. We’re thrilled to be cooking together again.”
The prequel will follow Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) attorney Saul Goodman six years before he began putting the word “criminal” in criminal lawyer. Known as Jimmy McGill, he was just a small-time attorney figuring out his life and trying to make ends meet. The series will track his transformation into a dirty lawyer.
