It’s only been three days since Beyoncé quietly dropped her newest, self-titled album. It’s only been three days and she has already added one of the brand new songs to The Mrs. Carter Show. Thankfully, she’s also taking the time to teach the song to the audiences who may have been living under a rock this week.
In case you have been living under a rock, Queen Bey decided to release a brand new album in the early hours of this past Friday the 13th. It came complete with 14 songs and 17 music videos. I think she was trying to destroy the internet.
Less than 24 hours after that album hit iTunes, the pop songstress played a gig at Chicago’s United Center and she unleashed XO, one of the brand new songs, on the audience.
It seems like most of the fans in the crowd were prepared for this and had already memorized the new album in its entirety, but Beyoncé wanted to make sure everyone knew the words anyway. It all goes down in the video above, you’ve got to check it out.
Let’s just hope she keeps this ball rolling and adds more songs to the tour set list. It’s scheduled to take a break just before Christmas and then invade Europe in February.
