There’s a new trailer for HBO’s upcoming adaptation of the Tony Award-winning The Normal Heart. The Ryan Murphy-directed screen version stars Mark Ruffalo, Julia Roberts, Taylor Kitsch, Matt Bomer and Jim Parsons. It tells several intersecting stories as the AIDS crisis comes to a head in early ’80s New York City.
The Normal Heart premieres on HBO on May 25.
