Look out, world! Courtney Stodden has been thinking about cutting loose of the old ball and chain for some time.
According to our source, Stodden and Doug Hutchison have been en route to Splitsville since the blond bombshell was kicked out of the Big Brother house Across the Pond.
On the heels of RadarOnline’s report that the 19-year-old and her 53-year-old hubby have decided to separate after two-and-a-half years of marriage, Celebuzz can let you know that the less-than-conventional pair, who tied the knot when she was only 16, have been discussing calling it quits.
“They were headed toward a separation,” a friend of Stodden’s told CB!. “They’ve definitely talked about it.
“Her world had only involved Doug for so long.”
And she has the UK to thank for her newfound independence.
“She came out of the Big Brother house and had found her independence,” added the friend. “She’s 19 and wants to have fun. She learned she could stand on her own and be a woman. She’s empowered.
“And Doug has always wanted to be accommodating, but he’ll fight till the end for her.”
If Stodden’s Halloween bash is any indication that the twosome is on their own for now, Hutchison wasn’t by his wife’s side to party the night away.
