Taylor Swift‘s beloved cat, Meredith, is a Patriots fan! At least that’s what the singer’s New England fans want her to believe…
Swift is slated to hit the stage for her Red tour at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts on Friday and she just posted an adorable photo from backstage. The pic reveals a banner featuring her ridiculously cute Scottish Fold wearing a Pats hat. She tweeted:

No word on if Meredith is actually a fan of the Football franchise. Mostly because she’s a cat and can’t speak to humans. We would have had her pegged for a Cincinnati Bengals supporter if we had to guess, considering they’re in the same species and all.
Taylor’s kitty, Meredith Grey, is turning out to be quite a celebrity in her own right. She even made a silly appearance in the 23-year-old entertainer’s debut Vine video last month:
