Wedding bells will soon be ringing again for David Arquette.
PEOPLE is reporting that the 42-year-old actor popped the question to his girlfriend and baby mama Christina McLarty in Malibu.
“He wanted his family to be with him when he did it,” a source says of the engagement, which took place at Mastro’s Ocean Club. “They are going to vacation in Aspen to celebrate.”
Arquette and McLarty, 33, have been in an on-and-off relationship since 2011. The pair welcomed their first child — a son named Charlie West — this past April.
This will be the second marriage for Arquette, who was previously married to Courteney Cox. One week ago, Cox, 50, announced her own engagement to rocker beau Johnny McDaid.
Arquette and Cox, who finalized their divorce in May 2013, have a daughter named Coco, 10.
