Dina Lohan was arrested by New York State Police Thursday night on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Her blood alcohol level was reportedly twice the legal limit.
According to law enforcement officials, Lohan was pulled over for going 77 miles per hour on the Northern State Parkway near Oyster Bay on Long Island. The speed limit is 55. Lohan was given a breathalyzer which revealed her BAC to be .20. Police then took her to a police station in Farmingdale to be processed.
At the police station, Lohan accused police of injuring her during the request, but when an ambulance was called to examine her, she recanted her claim. Lohan was ticketed for two separate DWI offenses and another for speeding. She was then released to an anonymous third party.
Lohan is scheduled to appear in a Nassau County courtroom on Sept. 24.
