What Taylor Swift said while One Direction hit the stage at Sunday night’s VMAs is between her and seatmate Selena Gomez.
Taylor looked like she was mouthing something resembling “shut the f*ck up” as her ex Harry Styles presented, but Gomez isn’t about to comment on the situation.
According to the Associated Press, when asked about the incident at her Getaway premiere on Monday, Selena simply quipped, “Don’t try that with me.” She also showed support for her close gal pal, Tay, saying:
“I think girls need to be more supportive of each other. I definitely agree with that. I’m all about that. Taylor has been one of those girls. We have been friends for five years. She is very strong. She doesn’t care what people think and she inspires me.”
Way to have your buddy’s back, girl.
And after all the speculation and hoopla, perhaps everything is actually peachy keen when it comes to Harry and Taylor’s current relationship status. Taylor was spotted posing for a pic with the One Direction lad at a VMA after-party despite the possibility of dissing him earlier in the evening.
The “22″ singer has been stepping out solo as of late, but that’s fine — she’s got a chum like Selena to hang on. Plus, there’s always her cat.
