Dr. Luke Sues Kesha’s Lawyer for Defamation

It’s starting to become harder and harder to follow Kesha and Dr. Luke‘s heated legal battle with so many lawsuits flying around.

After Kesha filed a lawsuit against her longtime collaborator accusing him of “sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally” abusing her for the past decade, and after she was hit back with separate litigation from him for extortion, Dr. Luke has sought out more legal action against the songstress’ team by taking aim at Kesha’s lawyer Mark Geragos.

According to new court documents, Dr. Luke is now suing Geragos for defamation after the attorney hinted that the music producer had raped Lady Gaga in addition to assaulting his client in a recent tweet. TMZ reports that Luke calls Geragos’ comment “maliciously false” in the lawsuit and insists that he didn’t know Gaga at the time of her alleged rape nine years ago. Dr. Luke also states in the documents that he has never been alone with the Mother Monster, who recently revealed she was sexually assaulted by someone she had trusted when she was a teenager.

Gaga’s team has since denied Luke’s involvement in the incident.

Since Kesha’s initial lawsuit, Dr. Luke has also filed a lawsuit against the “Timber” hitmaker’s mother, Pebe Sebert, for starting a smear campaign in order to “shame” him into letting Kesha out of her contract. In retaliation, Sebert is counter-suing the former Saturday Night Live guitarist for emotional distress and post-traumatic stress disorder caused by Luke allegedly date raping her daughter.
