It was a weekend so epic that we’re blessed to announce not one, but two celebrity weddings that happened hours and thousands of miles apart. And while both were star studded affairs, the ceremonies of Lance Bass and Elton John could not have been more different.
Beginning with Bass, the former *NSYNC‘er married his fiancé Michael Turchin in Hollywood Saturday. Surrounded by the likes of Christina Applegate, Gabourey Sidibe, Lisa Vanderpump, Kris Jenner, Pauley Perrette, Robin Antin and A.J. McLean, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Once Upon a Time‘s JoAnna Garcia Swisher officiated.
Lance’s former boy bandmates Joey Fatone, J.C. Chasez and, reportedly, Chris Kirkpatrick were also in attendance. Justin Timberlake was no where to be found, though that was expected as he’s busy making music.
Seen leaving their party hand-in-hand, Turchin and Bass both looked dapper their in fitted blue and black suits respectively.
And that takes us to London Sunday, where Elton John and David Furnish, who’ve been together since 1993, officially converted their civil partnership into a marriage. The pair, who have two children together, shared an inside look at their ceremony on Instagram.
In attendance at the English affair were David and Victoria Beckham, Ed Sheeran and actor David Walliams. But even those A-listers couldn’t compete with the couple’s twin boys, who are apparently pretty savvy with an iPhone.
