Time to save up: Emma Stone has officially been hired to play showgirl Sally Bowles on Broadway.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the 25-year-old actress will officially takeover Cabaret duties from Michelle Williams on Nov. 11.
Williams, who is set to deliver her last show on Nov. 9, has been starring in the revival opposite Alan Cumming since April.
The news comes just one week after it was reported that Stone had been in serious negotiations for the role, which will be her first on Broadway. The Spider-Man star was first linked to Cabaretlast year but talks fell through due to her busy filming schedule.
Stone is expected to play Sally Bowles until Feb. 1, though Cumming has signed on for shows through the end of March 2015 (which, as EW points out, could mean a spot for another actress).
