At the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 premiere on Monday evening, Jennifer Lawrence revealed that she wasn’t just dealing with Katniss Evergreen‘s life-and-death situations on set… She also had to face some real-life struggles that many of us would consider our worst nightmare.
J. Law explained that some of her co-stars decided to pull some pranks on her while filming. The worst came from Jeffrey Wright who plays Beetee in the film.
“I got a Tiffany’s box full of crickets!” she told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere. Of course she screamed and dropped the box, which made things much worse. “It was the most awful combination of feelings in the world… They were in my trailer for months. I couldn’t get them out!”
Though not behind that specific prank, Josh Hutcherson added, “We just love giving her crap all the time, and whether it’s a prank or just, you know, giving her a hard time, it’s the best!”
However, Lawrence doesn’t just take it (of course). She gives it right back to ‘em!
“We all mess with each other to make sure all of us have a conflicted experience,” she remarked, leaving the details out.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 will be released in theaters on Nov. 21.
