Thanks to the wonderful invention known as a DVR and one very loyal fan of Westeros, we have what appears to be the first glimpse into the fourth season of Game of Thrones. Fair warning, there are spoilers after the jump!
Now the images aren’t the best quality, as they are pictures of someone’s television, but they tell a story all the same.
Tyrion, Peter Dinklage, is in shackles. Joffrey, Jack Gleeson, is in a fowl mood, as usual. Sansa, Sophie Turner, is most certainly awaiting her knight in shining armour. And Jamie, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, appears to have showered and is quite possibly sporting a replacement hand, his right one was chopped off you’ll remember.
The last image is the most ominous of them all. Because it’s a desert scene, I would assume its a glimpse into Daenerys’, Emilia Clarke, storyline. She may have set all the slaves free last season, but it appears there is still resistance and fighting in her future.
HBO is already airing the promo these images were taken from, but it will allegedly make its way online in the near future.
