There’s only one power couple worthy enough to open the Grammys, so that’s probably why the folks behind music’s biggest night brought in Beyonce and Jay-Z last minute to kick of this year’s festivities.
Performing “Drunk in Love,” the duo kick started the show with an, um, okay version of what’s expected of a Beyonce performance.
Don’t get me wrong. Blue Ivy‘s parents did a good job overall. But, like, I’m about to endure 3.5 hours of the Grammys here, Bey. At least have Jay ride in on a serfbort surboard or something.
