Through an enviable strength of character, the Iron Man star is recuperating from being dissed by America’s premiere homemaker – in fact, she said she’s practically flattered.

“She just needs to be quiet. She’s a movie star…If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.” Ouch. There is no amount of organic, fair-trade salve that can soothe such a staggering burn.
However, the founder of critically lambasted lifestyle website Goop has taken Martha’s remarks in stride. Speaking at yesterday’s Most Powerful Women Summit, the 42-year-old joked, “No one has ever said anything bad about me before, so I’m shocked and devastated. I’ll try to recover.”
“If I’m really honest, I’m so psyched that she sees us as competition. I’m so psyched. I really am,” Gwyneth revealed. “At this point in my life I don’t take it personally.”
Smart move, Gwyneth – you wouldn’t want to add fuel to the fire when you’re dealing with a hardened criminal.
