David Beckham stopped by Facebook’s London offices to promote his new self-titled book, documenting twenty years of his football career.
During the live broadcast, Beckham signed digital copies for fans and talked about his retirement, speaking specifically about his last game.
“There’s a photo of Victoria and Romeo at that game and they’re looking really emotional,” Beckham said, according to HELLO!. “It was an emotional day for everyone.
“But to be able to have lived for it with my children is great, I’m proud to have been able to have my boys with me every time I lifted the trophy.”
Beckham said that after a long day, he loves to unwind by reading to his four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
“Harper just love fairies,” Beckham said. ”She’s all about fairies and princesses so I’m reading fairy books at the moment.”
