Yes, we’re still talking about Jessica Simpson’s wedding.
Two days after PEOPLE gave the world a glimpse of the newlywed’s gorgeous Carolina Herrera wedding gown, the magazine has released this week’s cover story and cover couple.

On Simpson’s big day with longtime love Eric Johnson, it was all about family. In fact, the bride and groom weren’t the center of attention during the ceremony.
Little Maxwell, 2, served as flower girl while Ace, 1, was the ring bearer.
“Before I walked out, I kept hearing all the applause, so my kids got standing ovations!” Simpson, 33, tells PEOPLE.
Says the groom, “I saw my gorgeous wife coming towards me and she was crying. I think my heart was exploding a little bit.”
Simpson and Johnson, 34, tied the knot on July 5th in front of approximately 250 of their nearest and dearest, including Cacee Cobb, Ken Paves and Jessica Alba.
The couple had 12 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen, including Ashlee and Tina Simpson (maids of honor) and Ashlee’s fiancé Evan Ross (groomsman). Johnson’s dad Stephen served as his best man while Simpson’s dad Joe officiated the nondenominational ceremony.
