If there’s one thing Kris Humphries can’t avoid, it’s the Kim Kardashian questions.
Even though their 72 day marriage ended some time ago and both have moved on (especially Kim!), Kris probably will never get through an interview without some mention of the Kardashian name.
With the buzz of Kim’s full-frontal Paper Magazine spread still fresh, this probably wasn’t the best time for Kris to do an interview.
During an interview Thursday, on Washongton D.C.’s 106.7 The Fan, The Washington Wizards power forward was asked directly, what he thought of his ex-wife’s risque photos.
“I gotta ask you this man,” host Danny Rouhier started. ”Listen. Yesterday there was like this thing that melted the Internet, and I’m sure you know what I’m talking about; what’s that like on a day like yesterday? You go out and play well and it’s awesome, you can put distractions aside, but like, it’s a unique position you’re in. Are guys giving you a heard time? Or is it just something that’s not a big deal at this stage?”
Kris seemed to beat around the bush with his response and narrowly avoided answering the question.
“I’ve always been a basketball-first kind of guy, and had a lot of success through everything,” Kris explained. ”For me, it’s just basketball, and that’s where my outlet is, especially now. I’m on a team that’s winning, and we’re gonna be in the playoffs and do all that. It feels good. But everything else, I don’t really pay a lot of attention to.”
Sure he doesn’t…
However, host Grant Paulsen pressed on further with the Kim questions.
“Is it hard, though, on a day like yesterday?” interrupted Paulsen. ”Do you just stay off your phone? Or how does that work?”
“I mean, a lot of times I don’t even know what’s going on,” Kris responded. ”I’m on ESPN and basketball websites and stuff like that. I’m not someone who’s paying attention to things that don’t really matter in my world.”
Burn.
Kris must be living under a rock. Or he just genuinely doesn’t care. But we highly doubt he doesn’t know what’s going on. I mean, girl pretty much did break the internet.
Coincidently Kim didn’t play coy about her 72 day marriage to Kris in her Paper magazine interview. At least she’s talking!
