No movie? No problem. Especially if you’ve got Lady Gaga as a friend.
On Wednesday night, James Franco, Mother Monster, Courtney Love and Marina Abramovic celebrated the holidays at the home of MoMA curator Klaus Biesenbach.
Naturally, they took selfies.
Pretty sure it’s true when they say Gaga always makes everything better.
The holiday hang came hours after Sony officially cancelled the theatrical release of Franco’s controversial movie The Interview.
“We are deeply saddened at this brazen effort to suppress the distribution of a movie, and in the process do damage to our company, our employees, and the American public. We stand by our filmmakers and their right to free expression and are extremely disappointed by this outcome,” read part of Sony’s statement.
Following the announcement, Steve Carell, Jimmy Kimmel, Judd Apatow and other celebrities expressed great rage via Twitter. Mia Farrow quietly summed up the whole situation with four words, “Damn. Bad guys won.”
