If Allison Williams had decided not to take the lead role playing Peter Pan in the live musical, then Jane Krakowski would made an exceptional second choice.
Thanks to Funny or Die, the 30 Rock alum showed us a Jenna Maroney version of Peter Pan Live!, and while it may not be as wholesome as America would like, it has us busting up in laughter.
Playing a Peter addicted to pixie dust with a confused sexual identity and a wild British accent, Krakowski takes the innocence right out of the fairy tale and adds her own touch of hilarity.
While she’s never received an Oscar for playing Maroney on seven seasons of 30 Rock (we’re still upset about it), she reminds the world about her Tony award, which sits behind her throughout the entire audition.
The actress’ most recent gig is in Tina Fey‘s new comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidtin which she will play Ellie Kemper‘s a rich boss. The show was originally slated for midseason on NBC, but will now premiere in March on Netflix.
