Everyone wants to know why Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck didn’t attend George Clooney‘s wedding!
The trio are friends, so it was assumed that they would be present at George’s Italian wedding to Amal Alamuddin. Jennifer and Ben first used work as an excuse for their absence. But, what’s the real reason? Jennifer just revealed that answer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon! Ben and George worked together on the 2012 film, Argo. They were both producers on the film and they ended up winning an Oscar for their hard work! Ben and George also share a close friend, Matt Damon. So, it seemed like Ben would totally be invited and bring along his wife, Jennifer. But, when the day came, the two weren’t there.
While appearing on The Tonight Show, Jennifer told host Jimmy Fallon that lice played a role in their absence at the wedding. It turns out, the Affleck family got lice a few years ago. One night, Ben wanted Jennifer to go with him to a party, while she still had lice. Jennifer agreed to go, and the first person they ran into was George, whom Jennifer had never met before. The actress explained to Jimmy that she smelled because of the oil in her hair that’s supposed to treat her lice. So, Jennifer thinks George smelled her and that’s the real reason they didn’t go to the wedding. Jennifer told Jimmy, “I think he didn’t want Licey there!” LOL.
