And Forbes’ highest-grossing actor of 2014 is… Jennifer Lawrence!
It comes as no surprise that J-Law takes the #1 spot, with not one but two huge box office hits (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part I and X-Men: Days of Future Past) this year alone.
Topping the list at #2 and #3 are Chris Pratt and Scarlett Johansson, who, like Jennifer, are both heartthrobs and both crazy talented in their own amazing way.
Between Mockingjay and X-Men, J-Law’s movies raked in a whopping $1.4 billion worldwide!
The last installment of The Hunger Games (Mockingjay – Part II) will be released next year, but Lawrence is by no means stuck in the franchise mold.
Her next project after Hunger Games is Joy (a movie based on the true story of a single mother from Long Island who becomes a successful entrepreneur) which will be directed by American Hustle director David O Russell and co-starring Bradley Cooper.
Only 24, Lawrence has had an amazing year, she’s already one an Oscar, and her song “Hanging Tree” made it onto the Billboard charts. What will 2015 bring?!
Pratt starred in the remarkable Guardians of the Galaxy and surprise hit LEGO Movie, which brought in a combined $1.2 billion worldwide.
Johansson also had a huge year with her roles in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Lucy, and Under the Skin, grossing $1.18 billion in total worldwide.
Finishing off Forbes’ Top 10 list are: Mark Wahlberg, Chris Evans, Emma Stone, Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Hugh Jackman.
