Kanye West could face up to a year in jail after being charged Friday with misdemeanor criminal battery and attempted grand theft after a verbal lashing turned physical at LAX two months ago.
This all went down when West uttered those four now infamous words — “don’t talk to me” – to a waiting paparazzo as he was walking out of the L.A. airport in July.
When the photog failed to heed his warning, Kim Kardashian’s baby mama allegedly attacked the pap, prompting the paramedics to be called to the scene.
West allegedly punched the guy several times before he fell to the ground.
According to TMZ, the photographer has filed a lawsuit and hired famed attorney Gloria Allred, who claims the incident left her client injured.
West is expected to be in court to face the charges Oct. 10.
