Hey Guillermo del Toro, that big budget film you’re about to release has Kanye West’s approval.
In the wee hours of July 4, the rapper and new dad took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Pacific Rim.
“I saw a pre-screening of Pacific Rim yesterday and it’s easily one of my favorite movies of all time,” he wrote.
“This is not another ‘Robot’ movie. Guillermo del Toro is a master.”
The highly anticipated summer film finds us in the not-so-distant future: huge monsters known as Kaiju have surfaced from beneath the Pacific Ocean. Humans create equally giant robots known as Jaegers to fight off the monsters. War ensues.
Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Ron Perlman star in the picture.
Pacific Rim opens stateside July 12.
