Kristen Stewart wants to take time off from acting.

The 24-year-old star is planning a hiatus, she told USA Today. After wrapping her latest film, Equals, with Nicholas Hoult, Stewart decided that she needs a break. She wants to try other forms of art and says she wants to create art in a different way, with her hands. So, how long is this break going to be? Find out below!

Stewart’s been working non-stop for the past few years, filming project after project. Now, she decided it’s time to take a rest. She revealed to USA Today, “I’m taking some time off because I’ve been working for two years. I’m an actor and that’s my art form, and because I started that so young, I’ve always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create. I’m going to take so much time off.”

What’s she going to do with all of her time off? Create art, but in a different way. Kristen explained, “I’m going to buy a live-work space in downtown LA and I’m going to make some (stuff) with my hands. Literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago. I’m making a short film. I’m making a bunch of (stuff). I don’t know how I’ll put it out. But I’m not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time.”

Don’t expect Stewart to join Twitter in her time off though, she’s definitely not a fan of the social media site. She explained, “What would I Tweet about? Who are you talking to? What are you saying? Imagine sitting here right now and thinking, ‘That’s a good thing to say to the world?’ What? I can’t even understand it.” LOL.
