Leighton Meester is opening up about her husband, Adam Brody!
The actress is on the cover of November’s Nylon magazine, talking about Brody and her former television show, Gossip Girl! Read on to get all of the details!
Fans were really upset when Gossip Girl ended in 2012. So how does Meester feel about the show today? She revealed to the magazine, “I started the show when I was so young, and once it was over, I wanted to do things that were more exciting and challenging and more me—more my adult taste. Of course, that’s said with nothing but gratitude and love for that experience in that time of my life.”
In her recent film Life Partners, Meester co-stars with her husband, Brody. How did that happen? Meester explained, “There wasn’t time to ask if we wanted to do this together. I was reading the script. I loved the part and loved the movie. I was going to the meeting that day and he called me and said, ‘They offered me this role.’”
The 28-year-old actress even opened up about approaching 30! Meester told the magazine, “Most people I know are starting to get married. It’ll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I’ve got dogs.”
