Leonardo DiCaprio has some serious family drama unfolding off screen.
The big screen superstar’s half brother, Adam Star Farrar, has been arrested in Texas and charged with litany of alleged criminal activities, including drug possession, CB! has confirmed.
And talk about bad timing. The news comes just four weeks before the infamously private actor is up for an Academy Award for Best Actor on Oscar night.
The 43-year-old former actor was put behind bars last Friday by sheriffs in Collin County, Texas, on outstanding warrants in Los Angeles.

And he could have continued to evade police if it wasn’t for Farrar’s not-so-bright decision to visit his girlfriend in the same Texas slammer, Celebuzz has learned. Police told Celebuzz that cops in Los Angeles had notified sheriffs that he may stop by the station in the Lone Star State: “So he checked in to visit her and we arrested him,” police told us.
According to RadarOnline, which was first to report the story, Adam’s girlfriend and baby mama is 38-year-old Charity Fae Moore, who is facing felony kidnapping and misdemeanor drug possession and theft charges, just to name a few.

Adam, who is still in custody, is looking at three misdemeanor charges of possession of a dangerous drug, harassment by phone, and theft of stolen property. No bond has been set until he’s extradited back to Los Angeles, according to police.
The jailbird pair reportedly has a 6-year-old daughter.
Leo’s mother, Peggy Anne Farrar, was married to Adam’s father, Michael Farrar, before she got married for the second time to the actor’s father, George DiCaprio. The once-close siblings have reportedly been estranged for some time.
