Less than 24 hours after the special Samsung release of Magna Carta Holy Grail, Jay-Z has posted one of the tracks on his own Soundcloud page.
“Holy Grail” kicks off the album with some help from Justin Timberlake (please collaborate all the time, you two) and lyrics from Nirvana’s classic “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Listen below.
On Wednesday night, Hova celebrated his new album with wife Beyonce, Magna Carta collaborator Timbaland and Nick Cannon at a release party in Brooklyn. Bey was spotted dancing to her hubby’s new work, and thanks to modern technology, there are multiple Instagram videos of the Queen dancing (like this one posted by MTV).
Magna Carta Holy Grail will be available to the rest of the world (ie. non Samsung users and those patient enough to wait for retail copies) on July 7.
The highly-anticipated album features appearances by Beyonce, Nas, Rick Ross and Frank Ocean.
