Between the Khaleesi costume and now this crazy commercial for her Japanese skin care line, Madonna just may be winning the internet this week. The commercial is to promote Madonna’s MDNA skincare line (only available in Japan) and actual lines of dialogue include “creation … your body smells of honey from the comb,” “essence … your amber silken skin smells of your mind” and “alchemy … I’ve spent hours on it … months on it … years on it.” These wonky lines are interspersed among images of Madonna caressing her knee in a bathtub and making faces in a mirror.
Go ahead, try to parody it. You can’t. It is its own parody.
