We’re used to Miley Cyrus always turning up; however, last week, she actually turned down for once, snapping a bedtime selfie and baring a beautiful complexion with absolutely no makeup on.
The 22-year-old took to Instagram to share the au naturale photo — hair up in a towel and everything! “Rare sightings,” the singer wrote in the caption. “Cyrus the first to retire from da partyyyyyy. Wtf?”
Of course this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Cyrus without any makeup. She’s the queen of posting selfies while doing a face mask or wearing zit cream as she tucks into bed.
Interestingly enough, Cyrus wasn’t always comfortable with showing off her bare skin. Growing up she struggled with acne, which actually led her into a state of depression.
“I went through a time where I was really depressed. Like, I locked myself in my room and my dad had to break my door down,” she told Elle magazine last year. “It was a lot to do with, like, I had really bad skin, and I felt really bullied because of that.”
