Naya Rivera Believes ‘White People Shower A Lot More’ Than Other People

Naya Rivera is a dirty girl… But for different reasons than the half-naked pictures she used to share all the time on Instagram.

The 28-year-old Glee star joined the ladies of The View Tuesday during which she revealed that she only showers once every three days.  But if you think that’s gross, she has a theory to go with it.

After one of the show’s co-hosts Nicolle Wallace said she showers three times a day, Rivera chimed in with her eyebrow-raising hypothesis, connecting showering and racial ethnicity.

“I think that white people shower a lot more than ethnic,” Rivera said as Wallace burst into laughter. “I feel like showering more than once a day or every day is such a white people thing.”

After co-host Rosie O’Donnell called upon an African-American woman in the audience, who insisted she’s a frequent showerer, Naya added: “My mom is half black, half Puerto Rican. She showers every day, so I can say this. But I’m now married to a white man,” she said, referring to husband Ryan Dorsey, with whom she secretly tied the knot last July. “And he showers a lot, like two, three times a day.”

Naya defended her infrequent showering to a dermatologist proven theory:  “So the study says, a dermatologist says, you are only supposed to shower once or twice every three days, so I’m right on the mark.”
