Orlando Bloom Thanks Joan Rivers For Her Neighborly Gesture

After Joan Rivers bought a cake and made a lovely sign for her Upper East Side neighborhood, Orlando Bloom, he thought he’d send her a big ole’ “thank you.”

Bloom posed with a sign and piece of cake outside the Richard Rodgers Theater, where he currently stars in the Broadway production of Romeo & Juliet.

The play’s Facebook page posted a photo of Bloom with the caption: “Hey Joan Rivers, thank you for your warm welcome to the hood! Looks like our Romeo has a sweet tooth for you too! xoR&J”

Rivers’ gesture might be a well-time PR move.  The 80-year-old comedienne is currently involved in a legal battle with socialite Elizabeth Hazan.  According to the New York Post, Hazan owes $200,000 in unpaid condo charges, something she and her legal time are fighting.
