Sad news for McDreamy.
Patrick Dempsey‘s wife Jillian Fink has filed for divorce from the actor after more than 15 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
Patrick and Jillian have released a joint statement: “It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage. Our primary concern remains the well-being of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”
Jillian, who is being repped by Laura Wasser, is asking for joint custody of their children, 12-year-old Tallulah and 7-year-old twin boys Darby and Sullivan, child support and spousal support.
However, McDreamy (who is reportedly worth around $40 million) and Fink do not have a prenup.
Sources told TMZ ”it remains to be seen whether it will be amicable,” that Jillian has had an issue with his ego and thinks it’s out of control, and as one source said, “She’s all about the kids.”
Patrick and Jillian tied the knot in 1999. He was previously married to Rocky Parker, who appeared with him in In the Mood, from 1987 to 1994.
