Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice will serve 15 months behind bars on conspiracy and fraud charges.
Her husband Guiseppe (Joe) will serve more than three years.
They’ve also been ordered to pay more than $400,000 in restitution.
They’ll stagger their sentences so one of them can care for their children.
Teresa broke down in tears after her sentence was read, clearly distraught.
“My daughters are my life. I’m more sorry than anyone will ever know. I will make this right no matter what,” she said in a statement. “I’m really scared … I need to learn to do things for myself. It’s time for me to wake up.”
The couple pleaded guilty and admitted to hiding assets and lying on loan applications to get $5 million in mortgages and construction loans.
