Sean Combs, aka. Diddy isn’t a fan of caviar, even if it’s the assumed go-to nourishment consumed by the rich and famous.
In fact, the rapper and music mogul claims he’s living quite the “normal” life.
“‘People think, ‘Oh, Diddy’s probably running around his mansion spooning caviar into his mouth,’” he tells the latest issue of LA Confidential magazine. “I don’t even like caviar.”
In the interview, which mentions a Maybach four times, the 43-year-old attributes his somewhat grounded life to his family. Diddy is a proud papa to sons Justin Dior, Christian Casey, Quincy, daughter Chance and twins Jessie James and D’Lila Star.
“A lot of people say yes to me, I admit that. But I’m blessed by how much the mothers of my children love to tell me the truth. They don’t let me get away with anything!” he says.
Still, Diddy has no problem spoiling said kids. His explanation for gifting Justin Dior with a silver Maybach worth some $360,000 a few years ago?
“I think I’m an example to them of working for what you want. I don’t make apologies for what I have. Especially in these economic times, it’s an achievement to have financial success. If part of that is to spoil your kids, to give them things, it’s okay, as long as they appreciate what they have.”
