Actor Robert Pattinson and his musician girlfriend FKA Twigs enjoyed a day on the beach with friends in Miami, Florida yesterday (December 7, 2014).
The hot new couple, like countless other celebrities, are in Miami attending Art Basel. Twigs performed earlier in the week at the National YoungArts Campus.
FKA hid her face behind a copy of Anaïs Nin‘s novel Delta of Venus while strolling along the beach with Robert.
The singer, who formerly served as a backup dancer for Jessie J and Kylie Minogue admits she hates being labeled, especially when the media calls her “quirky.”
“I was the ‘quirky androgynous girl.’ If anyone ever says I’m quirky ever again, I’ll throw up on myself,” she told Q magazine. “I guess I just felt really disconnected from myself. You’re making someone else’s dream happen by selling yourself and them boxing you into the ‘alternative kooky dancer’ role. You just feel a bit sucked dry,” she began.
“I think that’s why I’m so determined in what I’m doing. It’s why I will never be made to feel uncomfortable again, because I spent so many years feeling uncomfortable. But at the same time, I learnt a lot.”
Rob has been traveling the world with his new lady love, and seems to really enjoy her performances.
According to Gossip Cop, he will be performing in Brazil on Tuesday, and then pick up her tour again in the New Year for dates in Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia beginning in late January.”
