After going casual yet chic at a photocall, Scarlett Johansson turned up the temperature at the Venice International Film Festival for the Tuesday premiere of her new film, Under the Skin.
Arriving by water taxi, the actress kept all eyes on her in an Atelier Versace off-the-shoulder black gown, doling out smiles and autographs to fans who had waited hours just to get a glimpse of her.
Johansson’s shining moment in the Venice spotlight comes just after a new trailer for Under the Skin, a sci-fi thriller from Sexy Beast director Jonathan Glazer, showed up online. It stars Johansson — the cover model for the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar— as an alien seductresses who road trips through Scotland, beguiling and murdering men along the way.
Next up, the film will head to the Toronto Film Festival, which begins Sept 5.
