Selena Gomez has landed a new movie role!
The 22-year-old actress and singer was just cast in The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving. Gomez will co-star alongside Paul Rudd in the movie. Get all of the details below!
According to Deadline, Rudd’s character is Ben, “a caregiver looking after a frustrated teenager named Trevor who is in the advanced stages of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.”
Gomez will star as Dot, “a sassy 17-year-old who hitches a ride with the pair during a road trip, and whose forwardness and lack of embarrassment about Trevor’s condition causes him to develop a crush on her.”
Filming on the movie is set to begin on Jan. 22 in Atlanta!
Gomez just posted an Instagram with Rudd on Sunday. We can’t wait to see these two in a movie together!
