Citing lawyers who used such choice buzz words as “nasty” and “scorched-Earth,” the NY Post reported Thursday that Simon Cowell’s baby mama drama could land the notorious X Factor judge in court.
Cowell, who is expecting a baby with still-married New York socialite Lauren Silverman, was named a co-respondent in divorce papers filed two weeks ago by Lauren’s husband, Andrew, who wants to end his marriage based on claims of adultery. That means Cowell, 53, may be called to the witness stand to reveal his finances and, more importantly, the many details of his affair with Lauren.
Sources for the Post go on to paint Lauren as a “gold-digger” whose pregnancy was “by design” and all that other stuff that rich people on Park Avenue say about their frenemies. But in the meantime, Cowell is said to be “thrilled” about becoming a father.
