For all those who were expecting to dub the newest celeb couple “Whilli”… well, that’s just not going to happen.
At least, if Wayne Brady has anything to say about it.
All you Brady lovers can breathe a collective sigh of relief because the comedian, who’s been linked to TLC’s ab-stastic songstress Chilli, took to his Twitter to deny reports that he’s romancing the ’90s superstar.
The duo were reportedly spotted holding hands after TLC’s concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last Friday when Chilli (real name Rozonda Thomas) brought him on stage.
In fact, the Whose Line Is It Anyway? host did date the music icon a year ago, but it seems the 42-year-old singer also doesn’t want to perpetuate a rumored reconciliation after re-tweeting Brady’s message.
“This isn’t true,” a rep for Chilli told E! News. ”Wayne was actually hosting the event that TLC performed at in Vegas. Chilli and Wayne are friends, but there is nothing else going on besides friendship.”
Chilli actually has a crush on another screen star… of the Trekkie kind.
“As a matter of fact, Chilli happens to be a ‘Pine Nut,’” the rep added, “so if you all want to play matchmaker, Chris Pine is definitely what Chilli wants.”
We don’t blame her.
