It’s the year of Taylor Swift.
2014 has definitely been a good year for 24-year-old Taylor. The singer announced a new album, released a new single, and now she’s receiving a major honor. Taylor was just named the 2014 Billboard Woman of the Year, one of the highest honors in the music business.
It’s great to be Taylor right now. Her new album, 1989, is almost here, and her latest single “Shake It Off” is a huge success all over the world. People can’t stop dancing to it!
This is such an exciting time for Taylor, and now she’s Billboard’s Woman of the Year! Taylor’s the only artist to ever be given the honor twice! Wow!
Taylor’s honor will be celebrated on Dec. 12 at the 9th annual Billboard Women in Music Awards in New York City, just one day before Taylor turns 25. We think that’s a pretty great birthday present!
