Tumblr Queen Taylor Swift recently made headlines for carrying her cat, Olivia Benson, like an accessory through the streets of New York. While Swift may, in fact, be a Crazy Cat Lady, the truth behind her furry accessory is decidedly not all that weird.
Swift spoke to Access Hollywood and explained the simple truth: Olivia hates being in her cat carrier.
“She freaks out when she’s in there. So I was just like, ‘OK, all right, we’re gonna just do this,’” Swift said. “It was like a ten foot walk from my door to the car! What I thought was funny about those pictures is that, like, the cat is looking straight at the cameras!”
