Are vampires still immortal if HBO decides to kill their show?
HBO announced Tuesday that True Blood‘s upcoming seventh season will be its last.
“True Blood has been nothing short of a defining show for HBO,” HBO’s president of programming Michael Lombardo said in a statement. “Together with its legions of fans, it will be hard to say goodbye to the residents of Bon Temps, but I look forward to what promises to be a fantastic final chapter of this incredible show.”
True Blood‘s 10-episode seventh season is set to premiere in 2014. Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard are all set to return to the show. Cherish that Skarsgard butt while you still can.
