If Beyoncé and Jay Z made a feature film as their next move, I think the world would be OK with it.
On Monday morning, director Dikayl Rimmasch and the luxury lifestyle website Nowness unveiled the first of three short films he made with the power couple.
The first short, appropriately titled Bang Bang, finds the lovebirds playing outlaws who “speed through the Californian desert in a dusty 1960s Pontiac GTO with a manifest poise and stylish swagger that could only be embodied by the world’s foremost musical couple.”
These are the same clips that have appeared on the big screen at Bey and Jay’s highly successful On The Run tour, which wrapped with a doubleheader in Paris this past weekend. Of course, the headline we can’t stop talking about from the final concert is Beyoncé’s second pregnancy announcement, courtesy of her husband.
