Another name has been added to the Magic Mike XXL cast. Michael Strahan will join Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello in the highly-anticipated Magic Mike sequel!
It was recently announced that Amber Heard would be joining the cast, and now we’re hearing that Michael is set to appear in the film as well. It turns out, Channing asked Michael to be in the sequel back in 2012. It seemed to start out as a joke, but then Channing actually wrote a part for Michael! After the first Magic Mike movie came out in 2012, Channing appeared on Live and talked to Michael, who was then a guest-host, about being in the film. We didn’t know whether it was a joke or not, but after Michael got hired on Live, he would see Channing and they would talk about the movie on the show. Then, Channing actually wrote a part for Michael in the movie!
