Before joining Saturday Night Live, Sasheer Zamata starred in Above Average‘s The Morning After series.
Zamata is a recent University of Virginia graduate and has been performing with Upright Citizens Brigade (founded by Amy Poehler) since 2009.
Zamata’s first show will be the January 18th episode, hosted by Drake.
