When Justin Bieber decided to dye his hair blonde, he had to have known that that Miley Cyrus-lookalike comments were bound to follow.
… Or perhaps that he’d actually get mistaken as Miley–which is exactly what happened earlier this week.
The Biebs reportedly crashed a gay Republican’s meeting in West Hollywood on Monday night at one of his go-to restaurants the State Social House. Since the 20-year-old singer is a regular at the place, he requested that he and his group of friends be seated at their normal spot in what they call “The Attic,” even though it was already occupied by the political group.
The event chair of the Los Angeles chapter Ben Coleman called in and told the “Mid-Day LA” radio show that he didn’t recognize the singer and his famous friends at first, mixing them up for a group of girls and confusing Bieber for a “butcher” version of Cyrus.
… Yikes!
Coleman also took to Facebook to recount the event: “So, Justin Bieber crashed our Log Cabin Republican meeting last night. Like, literally he walked into our upstairs private lounge at State Social House and sat in the corner while Ronald Reagan’s former personal assistant Peggy Grande finished her talk to us. Talk about epic.”
He continued, “I tried to get a pic of the Biebs in front of the Log Cabin banner with Peggy and I, but the bodyguards said no. And they had guns. So that didn’t happen. Otherwise it was a dream come true.”
